Donald Trump, whose Twitter account has been reopened, said that he will continue to use his own social media platform.
Supporters of former US President Donald Trump occupied the Congress building, and Trump’s Facebook, Twitter, and many other social media accounts were closed during the tension that started.
Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, recently asked his followers in a poll to “Reinstate former President Trump” and when he got the answer “yes,” he opened Trump’s account.
No new posts have been made from Trump’s Twitter account, which had more than 88 million followers before he was banned on January 8, 2021.
Donald Trump: “There is no reason to return to Twitter.”
When asked if he plans to return to Twitter at a panel he attended, the former president of the United States said: “I don’t see any reason for that.”
Trump stated that he will stick to his own social media platform, “Truth Social,” which was launched in the past few months.
“I won’t be back”
On the other hand, in a video interview made in the past few weeks, Trump said, “I will be on Truth Social during the week.” I love Elon Musk; I like what he does. He is an excellent individual. We did a lot for Twitter when I was in the White House. “I’m disappointed with the treatment, and I won’t be going back,” he said.
