Elon Musk is preparing to leave his CEO position at Tesla. The billionaire businessman plans to hand over his post to Tom Zhu Xiaotong, President of Tesla China.

Billionaire businessman Elon Musk is currently the owner and CEO of large companies such as SpaceX, Tesla, and Twitter.

Although these companies have earned him the title of the richest person in the world, Musk’s plans include handing over the CEO role at Tesla.

China-based media outlet PingWest claimed that Elon Musk will leave the CEO position at Tesla to Tesla China President Tom Zhu Xiaotong.

He started Tom Zhu’s job as director of Tesla’s Supercharger program in 2014 and soon rose to the chairmanship of Tesla China.

Elon Musk has stated many times in his previous statements that he likes to be an engineer, not a boss.

“I HATE BEING THE BOSS”

According to the Wall Street Journal’s report last year, Musk used the following statements in his statement:

“I hate it, I’d rather spend my time on design and engineering. I tried not to be Tesla’s CEO, but I had to. Otherwise, Tesla would have died. I hate being the boss. I’m an engineer.”

There is no official statement from the company or Elon Musk at the moment, but it is a fact that is known by everyone that the workload of the American entrepreneur is too much.
