The country’s largest iPhone factory will be built in India, which will employ more than 60,000 people.
Ashwini Vaishnaw, India’s Minister of Telecom and Information Technologies, announced that the largest Apple manufacturing facility in the country is under construction. According to the shared information, the factory in question will employ more than 60 thousand people.
The factory is located in Hosur, about 40 km from the city of Bangalore, which is called the silicon valley of Asia. According to the information conveyed, iPhone 14 production will be mainly carried out at the facility.

The Hosur iPhone manufacturing facility will be operated by Tata Electronics. Apple currently has three Taiwanese manufacturers in India.
Foxconn manufactures in Tamil Nadu, Pegatron near Chennai, and Wistron in Bangalore.
The new factory to be established will ease Apple’s hand in iPhone production.
