Microsoft admitted that PlayStation has exclusive games of better standard and Xbox lacks behind its opponent in this area.

Microsoft reported that Sony has more and higher-quality exclusives for the PlayStation than Microsoft does for the Xbox in its statement to the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA). Microsoft agrees that PlayStation-exclusive games from Sony are better as compared to Xbox-exclusive games from Microsoft.

According to the most current statistics, the top 20 PlayStation-exclusive games have an average rating of 87/100, while Xbox-exclusive titles have an average rating of 80/100.

Along with receiving higher ratings, PlayStation-exclusive games account for 20% of all sales, compared to 10% for Xbox-exclusive games. The data also demonstrates a connection with in-game purchases.

Microsoft, however, confirmed that it will not remove Activision games from the PlayStation. Regardless of what Microsoft says, the CMA is still troubled about this potential. Microsoft promises to keep making excellent games that are still very attractive to Sony, all the while making select Activision games exclusive to Xbox, which should satisfy the CMA’s concerns.

Famous video games including Overwatch, Diablo, Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, Candy Crush, and StarCraft are all created by Activision Blizzard. The UK has made the decision to review Microsoft’s purchase of Activision, while Saudi Arabia and Brazil, among other nations, have approved the deal’s continuation.
