Allegedly, Microsoft is in talks to buy Netflix for $190 billion.

With the entry of big names such as Disney, Warner Bros., Amazon, and Apple into the video streaming service market in recent years, competition in the industry has started to heat up.
Video subscription services, which have a large market share in the cinema industry, especially Netflix, have recently started to have a hard time.
Microsoft has its eyes on Netflix
Reuters reports that Microsoft plans to buy Netflix for $190 billion, making it the company’s largest acquisition.
According to reports, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella wants to complete negotiations to acquire the streaming platform in the first half of 2023.

On the other hand, Microsoft currently wants to complete its acquisition of Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion. However, many regulators have brought this acquisition under scrutiny.
Reuters suggests that the Netflix acquisition will be easier to get through regulatory bodies like the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the European Union.
Because both companies act jointly in the advertising industry, Microsoft president Brad Smith is on the board of Netflix.
