Renault unveiled an NFT collection featuring the “R3NLT” platform and the Renault 5 special for its 50th anniversary.

Renault joins the ranks of companies trying to use digital technology for marketing purposes. The French car manufacturer is releasing an NFT collection that represents the 50th anniversary of the Renault 5. With its first NFT collection, it is launching its proprietary platform, R3NLT, aimed at building a Web3 community.

French automaker Renault adds Web3 to its technological journey. Renault has announced its Web3 platform, R3NLT, with its first NFT collection.

The Renault 5 was launched in 1972, so on December 15, the French automaker is putting on sale 1972 NFTs, each representing a unique nine-second video of the famous hatchback supermini.

Renault NFT collection:
Based on four models of Renault 5, the collection will include 100 electric Renault 5 NFTs, 160 Renault 5 Turbo NFTs, 450 Renault 5 Le Car Van NFTs, and 1,262 Renault 5 TL NFTs. Each will be randomly assigned and will appear after purchase. They will also have their own perks, including invitations to special events or access to exclusive content.

The R3NLT platform is just the beginning of a long-term Web3 project for the automaker. The goal of the brand is to build a community of enthusiasts as well as a closer relationship with its users. Web3 platform R3NLT will offer experiences and opportunities such as private test drives and meetings with brand designers.
