The US and EU decided to keep up their tight technological partnership. The development of the collaboration’s efforts to protect and support competitive balance in the digital industry will be analyzed.

As part of the second “EU-US Joint Technology Competition Policy Dialogue” conference, senior representatives from the European Union (EU) and the United States met in Brussels.

Following their discussion, US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Chair Lina Khan, EU Commission Senior Vice President Margrethe Vestager, and US Department of Justice Deputy Attorney General for Antitrust Division Jonathan Kanter jointly released a statement.

The presidents of the European and US competition agencies discussed the progress made in their cooperative efforts to safeguard and promote fair competition in the digital industry, according to the statement.
