Elon Musk, the new CEO of Twitter, voted “yes” in the survey, where he offered “amnesty” for suspended accounts. These accounts will be opened this week.
World-famous billionaire Elon Musk continues to make radical changes after purchasing Twitter.
Musk recently announced the proposal, which will be one of the biggest policy comebacks to date, with a survey.
Voted “yes” in the poll
Elon Musk’s poll has concluded, recommending that accounts that “do not break the law or spam horribly” should be allowed back to the platform. While 72.4 percent of the respondents voted yes, 27.6 percent said “no”.
Upon the results confirming the return of suspended accounts, Musk shared, “The people have spoken. Amnesty begins next week.”
Twitter’s new CEO had reopened several accounts that were banned for violating platform rules, including those of former President Donald Trump, congressman Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Kanye West.
